Founder & CEO
STEFANO ARESI
Enthralled by singing since early childhood, Stefano Aresi revealed a distinctive musical taste early on: at the age of eight, as a choirboy, he adored Vivaldi and Palestrina but steadfastly refused to sing Perosi. He later pursued an academic career devoted to music philology, performance practice, and the history of singing. In 2009, he founded Stile Galante with the aim of reviving neglected Italian vocal treasures of the eighteenth century—while steering clear, whenever possible, of the countertenor plague.
